Elect Barbara As Your Next Judge of Probate This November!

Dear District 25 Residents,

I am a Democratic candidate for Judge of Probate in the Tolland-Mansfield District, which includes Coventry and Willington. I have lived in Coventry for over 20 years with my husband Bill and three children. Throughout my career, I have had ongoing experience in probate matters and have been appointed by probate courts to represent the interests of children, the elderly, and the disabled. I have represented clients in trusts and estate and family law matters. My experience as a trial lawyer provides a solid foundation to deal with matters that come before Probate Court.

I would like to serve as probate judge and believe I have the right temperament to succeed in that role and offer caring public service to the residents of this District. To be an effective judge, you need to be a good listener, and show compassion and empathy to those who come before the court. I have always considered my "people skills" to be my greatest strength as a lawyer. I have a reputation among my peers for being honest, competent and resonable. I have run a successful law practice for many years, and my organizational and time managment skills have contributed to that success.

I would consider it an honor and privilege to serves as your Probate Judge. I hope to have your support!

Sincerely,

On May 21, 2014 Barbara won the nomination to become the democratic candidate for Judge of Probate for District 25!
